Since a very young age, I have been a prolific writer. I didn't realize how much so until taking my Psychology of Writing course (okay, so it's still in progress and perhaps I will learn some contradictory information which will change my mind, but this is unlikely, I think). Anyway, this class hadn't interested me until I started using these principles to examine my own corpus of writings from age 4 to present day. It is amazing to watch my thoughts develop on the page, knowing that each writing is practice for the next, the next, and the next. Sharpening my expressive skills is something that I think is not only important but critical for my vocation today.
Ah words. I hope my love affair with you never dies!
